On the 1st of May between 2.00 p. m. and 9.30 p. m. on landing field Zborowo will take place the air picnic for inhabitants of Dopiewo. Free entrance.

The new hangar
The construction of hangar 18*25m with two gates 4.3m high and 15m wide has just been finished and accordingly it is possible to keep an aircraft on occasion or sign permanent agreement.

Smoothing the surface
As every year, between 24 and 26 of March the area of the landing field is being smoothed. Pilots are asked to pay attention to heavy road roller that may appear on the runway.

The quality of landing field surface
As snow melted down the surface of the landing field was checked on the 2th of March 2010. I would like to inform that the surface of the field is smooth and dry, without any dangerous damages and marshy areas. It is ready for take-off and landing of the aircrafts.

Still in December 2009 came into existence hangar construction on Zborowo landing field. Unfortunately with gates mounting, we have to wait until snow and frost recede.

After TPSA service the quality of the connection has improved. Since then we haven't noticed any failures in connection.

Since the 2nd of July 2009 throughout the territory of Zborowo landing field there is available HotSpot with the speed 256KB/s. SSID: aero-free.

We are sorry for breaks in showing meteorological station readings which are caused by bad parameters of connection. We will inform you immediately after the problem is solved.

Registration of the radio station ZBOROWO-RADIO
On the 22nd of May 2009 Civil Aviation Office registered radio station ZBOROWO-RADIO in the Registry of Aeronautical Ground Facilities. Radio station operates on the frequency 123,350MHz.

On the 21st of April Zborowo landing field received radio frequency 123,350MHz. Call sign: ZBOROWO-RADIO.

According to the international rules of ICAO Polish Air Navigation Services Agency established the sign EPZB for Zborowo landing field. (International Civil Aviation Organization).

The report from the picnic May 2008
On our picnic appeared a lot of people! The weather was not very nice, but fortunately it was not raining. The event finished at 10 pm with the magnificent fireworks show.

Zborowo Air Picnic 2008 the 1^st of May 2008 at Zborowo landing field.

We invite all for paragliding competition, and even more:

The event is open for everyone!
The event will be opened by Ireneusz Cieslak - our former world champion of the Gordon Benet Cup.
This is the third national competition in Zborowo.
In the competition are taking part pilots of the national team with the last year's world vice-champion.
Participants from all Poland take part in the competition for "Puchar Starosty Poznanskiego". Pilots from Poznan and Leszczynski Aeroclub will present their aircrafts in the air and on the ground.

Seasonal preparation of the landing field
As every year the area of the landing field was rolled by heavy road roller. Roughness that appeared after the winter was removed. It is smooth and hard again to provide the best quality for flying in.

SEZON LOTNICZY W ZBOROWIE OTWARTY

1 maja na ladowisku Zborowo odbyly sie pierwsze zawody paralotniowe inaugurujace otwarcie sezonu lotniczego 2007, polaczone z Majowka. Najodwazniejsi sami mogli sie przekonac, jak to jest uniesc sie ponad ziemia, inni mogli bezpiecznie obserwowac wyczyny lotnicze korzystajac przy okazji z uslug gastronomicznych.
Nikt dokladnie nie wie kiedy i gdzie narodzilo sie paralotniarstwo. Niektorzy upatruja poczatkow tego sezonu w spadochronach zboczowych, ktore sluzyly francuskim alpinistom do powrotu ze szczytow zdobytych gor, inni chcieliby widziec poczatki w badaniach prowadzonych przez armie amerykanska nad spadochronami szybujacymi. Niezaleznie jednak od genezy, paralotniarstwo, jako niezalezna dyscyplina sportowa zaczelo funkcjonowac w drugiej polowie lat osiemdziesiatych ubieglego wieku. Jest wiec dyscyplina mloda.
W Polsce pierwsze paralotnie oraz pierwsze szkoly uczace podstaw uprawiania tego sportu pojawily sie pod koniec lat osiemdziesiatych. Obecnie paralotniarstwo to uznanana na swiecie dyscyplina sportowa. Jej popularnosc rosnie z uwagi na to, ze jest to najtanszy oraz najlatwiej dostepny sport lotniczy i prawie kazdy moze zrealizowac w ten sposob swoje marzenia o lataniu.
Paralotnia to miekkie, samopompujace sie skrzydlo. Wywodzi sie w prostej linii od tzw. spadochronow szybujacych - od ktorych odroznia sie duzo wieksza doskonaloscia i sterownoscia. Coraz czesciej paralotnie pojawiaja sie rowniez na terenach nizinnych. Uzywana jest glownie do celow rekreacyjnych i sportowych. Spakowane zajmuja objetosc duzego plecaka. Istnieja takze paralotnie z napedem - dzieki zastosowaniu silnika paralotniarz zyskuje bardzo duza swobode poruszania sie w powietrzu, uniezalezniajac sie w znacznym stopniu od specyficznych warunkow niezbednych do lotow swobodnych. Pulap osiagany przez paralotnie z napedem to nawet 5100 m n.p.m. - paralotnia z napedem przeleciala nad najwyzszym szczytem Europy - Mont Blanc. Limitem jest konstrukcja napedu - moc silnikow uzywanych w napedach silnie zalezy od ilosci dostarczanego powietrza. Im wyzej tym cisnienie jest nizsze i silnik dostaje mniej powietrza. W rezultacie moc spada i w pewnym momencie nie jest wystarczajaca, by kontynuowac wznoszenie. Jednak zwykle najprzyjemniejsze ze wzgledow widokowych jest latanie na wysokosci 150-200 metrow.
Wtorkowe zawody paralotniowe przyciagnely tlumy widzow i kibicow. Tym bardziej, ze organizowane zostaly po raz pierwszy w gminie. Duza furore wywolaly pokazy slynnej grupy akrobacyjnej reprezentacyjnego zespolu Aeroklubu Polskiego Zelazny. Mieszkancy z zapartym tchem obserwowali, jak wykonuja spektakularne ewolucje, nagradzajac je gromkimi brawami.
Wszystko co dobre niestety szybko sie konczy. Dziekujemy wszystkim za odwiedzenie lotniska w Zborowie w miniony wtorek. Dziekujemy rowniez Panu Andrzejowi Szymanskiemu - pomyslodawcy i glownemu organizatorowi wtorkowej imprezy, a takze wszystkim pilotom, ktorzy wzieli udzial w pokazach. Wszystkich, ktorzy zlapali bakcyla do latania zachecamy do zmierzenia sie z tym sportem i zyczymy wysokich lotow!

Season Opening
On MAY 1st at Zborowo Landing there will be Paraglider’s season Opening and air picnic. In program among others: - paragliders competition; - for courageous hang-gliders flights; - presentation of Helicopter ROBINSON R44 potential and capabilities; - acrobatic maneuver performed by Zelazny Group. From 8 till 10 am and from 4 till 6 pm airspace at Zborowo Langing is reserved for paragliders event. Rest of the time all aircraft pilots are welcome to takeoffs and landings.
